I am a keen runner who flirts with mountain-biking and snowboarding every so often. My favourite foods are doughnuts and smoked salmon. The last CD I bought was Lungs by Florence And The Machine.

Work

I am a Systems Architect with IBM UK. My expertise includes infrastructure architecture, IT service management process development and infrastructure testing. I have led the delivery of many complex IT infrastructure transformations to deliver cost reductions and service improvements for a wide variety of customers. I strongly believe that it is vital for technologists to develop non-technical skills such as facilitation, communications and influencing skills. I certainly lead by example and encourage others to do so.

Advanced Driving

When not working, exercising or eating I can often be found teaching people Advanced Driving. I am a Senior Observer with the Institute of Advanced Motorists and active in the North West London & Chilterns Group of Advanced Motorists. In addition to working with associates I also run train the trainer sessions to help other Observers improve their coaching skills.
